 B Rodriques
Comments: Bobby Rodriguez returns as the Head Coach for the Bombers for the 2008 season. Currently he is the Assistant Coach at Thomas University in Thomasville, Georgia.
Robert E. Rodriguez ( Coach B. Rod.) San Antonio, Texas graduated 1976 South San Antonio High School played 8 1/2 years in the Mexican AAA Leagues won to team titles 1977-1981 where he batted a life time average of .336 average and won one Minor League Batting Title with .404 average and two as a Mexican Native.
Coach Rodriguez was a Trainer and Coach in the Texas Louisiana League before going in to coach with the Baltimore Orioles for 7 1/2 years where he won two League titles in the South Atlantic League.
Later went on to Coach the University of Maryland Eastern Shore where they were runner-ups of the conference behind Betune-Cookman University in 2006, a big stepping stone for the program.
Was named coach of the decade for the Salisbury Shorebirds Class A minor League Team for the Baltimore Orioles 2005. Degree from Ashwood Univeristy in 2005 Physical Education
Was Inducted into the Latino Hall Of Fame in 2005 in San Antonio, Texas.
Volunteer Coach at Thomasville University 2007-08
Since the start of the Thomasville Bombers in 2007, Coach Rodriguez has been Head Coach and instructor. He has been married for 30 years to his wonderful wife Lety and have four wonderful children and three grand kids.
